About Zhejiang University
Zhejiang University (ZJU) traces its roots to Qiushi Academy, founded in Hangzhou in 1897. It is a public research university under the Ministry of Education, a member of the C9 League, and part of Project 985, Project 211 and the Double First-Class initiative with 21 Double First-Class subjects. ZJU is a leader in computer science, control engineering, optics, electrical and agricultural engineering, and medicine. Its main Zijingang campus is in Hangzhou, with an international campus in Haining.
