About University of Science and Technology Beijing
The University of Science and Technology Beijing (USTB) was founded in 1952 as the Beijing Steel and Iron Institute. It is a public research university under the Ministry of Education and part of Project 211 and the Double First-Class initiative. USTB is ranked first in the world for metallurgical engineering and is also strong in materials science, mining, civil engineering and chemistry. Its campus is at 30 Xueyuan Road in Haidian, Beijing.
