About University of Patras
The University of Patras is a public university established on 11 November 1964. Its main campus is at Rio, about 7 km east of Patras city centre, with further sites in Messolonghi and Agrinio. It has seven schools covering natural sciences, engineering, health sciences, humanities and social sciences, economics and business, agriculture and health rehabilitation. Bachelor's teaching is mostly in Greek, but the School of Medicine runs a six-year English-taught Medical Degree for international students.
