About Tsinghua University
Tsinghua University was founded in Beijing in 1911 and is one of the best universities in Asia. It is a public research university under the Ministry of Education, a member of the C9 League, and part of Project 985, Project 211 and the Double First-Class initiative. Tsinghua is world-leading in engineering, chemistry, materials, energy and computer science, and its alumni include two Chinese presidents. Its main campus is in Haidian, north-west Beijing, with a graduate school in Shenzhen.
