About Sichuan University
Sichuan University (SCU) was founded in 1896 in Chengdu and is the leading university in western China. It is a public research university under the Ministry of Education and part of Project 985, Project 211 and the Double First-Class initiative. SCU is especially known for its West China schools of medicine and stomatology, as well as chemistry, materials and engineering. It has three campuses in Chengdu: Wangjiang, Huaxi and Jiang'an.
