About Deakin College
Deakin College has been Deakin University's pathway partner since 1996, and over 23,000 students have moved on to Deakin University. It is run by the Melbourne Institute of Business and Technology (MIBT), part of the Navitas Group (CRICOS 01590J). Classes run on Deakin's Melbourne Burwood, Geelong Waterfront and Geelong Waurn Ponds campuses, and diplomas are made up of eight Deakin first-year units, so graduates enter the second year of a Deakin degree. Students have full use of Deakin facilities and can apply for on-campus accommodation.
